Ministry of Food and Drug Safety visits the cultivation site of Nongboo Mind

On September 2nd, 2022, the interested parties of Drug Legislation of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety visited the cultivation site of Nongboo Mind.

The Ministry announced 'Food and Drug Regulatory Innovation Top 100 Challenges' on last August 11th, and stated that the government will allow production and import of cannabis with medical purposes. This would contribute on enlarging the opportunitiy of treatemnt for patients with rare and incurable diseases, while also strengthening the competitiveness of pharmaceutical industry of Korea.

The parties also invegsigated through the cultivation site for safety management system check. After, discussion on difficulties created within the cultivation site and utilization of medical cannabis was held.
